To uphold fair policies, we use the same rental criteria for all applicants which includes a credit check, residential verification, and employment verification. combined income for the apartment must also reach at least 2.5X total rent.
You can submit your application anytime online or stop by during regular office hours to submit your application in person. We strive to process all applications in a timely manner and to be as efficient as possible, please submit all required documents at the time of your application. At the time you submit your application, a processing fee and document fee of $50 per applicant and a security deposit of $250 will be due. If it has been longer than 7 days, please call the front office at 916-507-2232 and we would be happy to check on the status of your application.
We are excited for you to call Chesapeake Commons home! Move-in expenses include your 1st month’s rent and security deposit. Any other service you have added on will also be due at that time.
Your rent payment includes your monthly rent plus any additional bundle services you signed up for at the time of your lease. We do not include utility services such as water or electricity in your rental rate. To pay your rent, simply create a login to your resident service portal and you will be able to pay by electronic check, credit, or debit card. Our residents are our #1 priority. We strive to respond to all service requests within 3 hours to ensure your home is maintained to your satisfaction**. Non-emergency service requests are handled during regular business hours. You can request maintenance service from the convenience of your own home via our resident portal! You can also call 916-949-2671 to request help from our maintenance team. You may choose to be present and give us a preferred time to come by or you may give us permission to enter in your absence. *Tip you can download our resident portal app for more convenience. Look up RentCafe Resident on your preferred app store to have easy access to your resident portal.
We are proud to call Chesapeake Commons pet friendly! Our pet fee is $400 and our monthly pet rent is $40 per pet. Learn more about our breed restrictions.
Yes, parking is available onsite for our visitors and residents. Visitors to our office can use the designated "office parking" spaces near the rental center while conducting business in our office. Resident parking include reserved uncovered parking for $25 a month or a reserved covered parking spot for only $40 a month.
Students living at Chesapeake Commons can attend White Rock Elementary, Cordova Villa Elementary, Mills Middle School, Mitchell Middle School, and Cordova High School. We are also conveniently located near California State University and Folsom Lake College.
Yes, we offer in home washer and dryers in every apartment.
